Time, cost and environmental savings all in a day’s work for Justice Tim Moore

A court case in the NSW Land and Environment Court has so far saved around 50,000 – 70,000 pages of paper - and it’s only day three of an eight day matter.

The Australian Legal Sector Alliance and the NSW Office of Environment & Heritage are partnering on the project that aims to build an understanding and develop resources to address the sustainability issues of the NSW litigation processes.

The paperless pilot is being led by a member of the program’s Steering Group, Justice Tim Moore. AusLSA will capture and promote the learnings from the pilot in a case study to be released in August 2017.
