Group members expressed a desire to have a free flowing conversation where they could collect new ideas and initiatives, but also share the frustrations and challenges of making progress.

There was particular interest in the issue of maintaining engagement and communication, which is anticipated to be recurring theme in ongoing discussions.

The following outlines how the group will operate: 

1. We will meet once per quarter (in the first few weeks of the new quarter)
   
2. The meetings (and lunch) will be hosted by members of the group.
   
3. Volunteers to host the next meeting will be sought at each meeting.
   
4. Membership of the group will be limited to legal firm staff
   
5. The Chatham House Rule applies
   
6. The host will be invited (but not required) to conduct a brief site tour of their firm’s facilities (focussing on sustainability initiatives and challenges).
   
7. Although, generally, discussion will be free-flowing, we will have a standing agenda item of issues to discuss at the next meeting.
   
8. Where appropriate guests with specialist knowledge may be invited to attend. For example, people with knowledge about lighting, plumbing, paper. Group members are encouraged to identify specialist topics of interest and/or guest speakers.
   
9. The host of each meeting will prepare a brief note after the meeting to capture an interesting aspect of the meeting that will be published (after approval from the group) on an AusLSA website blog (for members only).
   

Next Meeting

The next meeting will be scheduled for the 3rd week of July 2013 at Lander & Rogers.
Invitations will be sent once dates are confirmed.
