Working collaboratively to promote sustainable practice across the legal sector

Climate Action Co-Lab

Welcome to the new Climate Action Co-lab.

The Australian Legal Sector Alliance (AusLSA) is pleased to announce the new AusLSA Climate Action Co-Lab, as a part of firm’s AusLSA membership.

The new AusLSA, member only, Climate Action Co-Lab will provide a structured program to identify and work together on priorities that will help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This program is aimed at increasing the efficiency and speed of building the know-how, capacity and solutions required to support firm’s evolving climate goals.

The formation of the new AusLSA member Co-Lab follows the success of the recent AusLSA Climate Action Roundtables which provided webinars to AusLSA members on actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The Co-Lab will meet each month via video link and will be professionally supported by Foresight Consulting, who have extensive experience and a deep understanding of corporate climate action.

Three key objectives of the new Climate Action Co-Lab

  1. Community of Practice - providing a collaborative environment for leading law firms to build relationships and share experiences with other climate action practitioners.
  2. Expertise - providing information advice and potential solutions to address a series of key issues that law firms need to understand and address to improve the impact of their climate change programs
  3. Ongoing opportunities - articulating a set of shared issues and actions that law firms should continue to collaborate on and with options about how this could be sustainably delivered.

We look forward to welcoming all our AusLSA member firms to the Climate Action Co-Lab
